TVG-1 (TV Guardian Module)

Smart mains-power control for anti-theft protection and parental screen-time scheduling.

TVG-1 is a smart module that sits between the wall socket and a TV, giving parents and owners control over when the TV can be used and protection against theft. It's currently being redesigned around the ESP32 for over-the-air updates, WiFi connectivity, and deep sleep power efficiency.

Planned Features

Child Watch Requests
A request button lets a child ask for watch time, which a parent can approve remotely.
Daily Watch Time Counter
Tracks how long the TV has been used each day against a set limit.
Tamper Detection
A reed switch detects if the module has been opened or bypassed.
Multi-TV Dashboard
Manage several TVG-1 modules across a household or property from one dashboard.
